I am rechecking the initial backlink information for keywords on a couple of my product pages and have a question regarding the numbers I am getting. One of my product page primary keywords is coming up with the following for the top 10 webpages (Please excuse the formatting, I could not get table to work any better): Google search rank = 1 Page Rank = 3of10 No. Yahoo Backlinks = 545

Checking Backlinks in Google? Ah, YES! (Jul 22, 2007 at 6:25 PM) - I have found a [u]new text string[/u] that you can use to [b]check the backlinks at Google[/b]. Yes, you read that correctly.
To do so, simply open a new browser and head over to [url=http://www.google.com]Google[/url] and paste in the string below, then [u]replace[/u] [b]websitename.com[/b] with the [u]page address[/u] you would like to check the backlinks on, and ta da there are the backlinks to the page.
I am not sure how long this will work, but it works now. :)
[b]site:.com websitename.com -site:websitename.com[/b]
By the way, if you use just the [b]site:.com

20 PAD Articles reached! (Aug 11, 2007 at 11:34 AM) - Whew, did it! That was my goal. However, as this is really long term (the competition is tougher than I thought), these 20 articles are for only the home page and 2 product pages.
